Opportunity Youth Employment Policy Strategy

A robust scan of the policy landscape will identify opportunities for interventions that will help youth move into the labour market

Summary

This project intends to build a comprehensive understanding of the program and policy landscape and how to best support and promote effective public policy in order to advance Opportunity Youth employment outcomes. Opportunity youth are 18-29 year olds who are not engaged in school or work and are facing barriers to education and/or employment due to any number of factors, including homelessness, disability, criminal record, child intervention involvement, mental health concerns, poverty, etc.
